Yes. Definitely. You can. This is a dual cart. So you can have both buttons show up together. Quote buttons would only come on products on which you enable the field in admin side.
So your normal add to cart functions would run as it is.
And request quote buttons would be added to selected products in admin.

1) When you mark the product to be just quote. Then add to cart is hidden and add to quote is enabled.

Yes, you can enable the field "Show regular price before quotation".

There are thousands of theme on opencart and each theme is coded differently. And our extension works on add to cart button.

Q7) Is a customer required to enter address information or can that be optional for just receiving a quotation?
We have added a control for this. If you have enabled quick checkout then Address won't be asked. If no, then just personal details would be needed.
Q8) Is there a quote PDF sent for download?
We have quote PDF sent as an attachment to email when admin submits back the quote to the customer.
This PDF can also be seen in My Account -> Quotation History section.

With our extension, you get 2 types of cart i.e normal cart and quotation cart.

Yes, quotes can be created directly from admin side as well.

Yes, definitely. The customer can select the options for products and request the quote.

Yes, the customer can pay with the payment method(s) you use on your website.

Q13) We use special pricing based on the customer group. Will that be affected by this extension??
No. Our extension won't affect the special pricing. It will continue to work as it is.
Q14) By default in opencart we can hide the price for non-registered user and allow only registered user to see the product pricing. is this default feature still can be use? ?
It will be the same. Pricing will only be shown to the registered users as per your settings.
