You can add customer details to our excel sheet and click upload. It will complete the job instantly.

This extension is useful If you are shifting from other eCommerce or want to upload customers to your existing store.

It is simple excel sheet form which you need to fill and click upload.
All customers will be imported to opencart easily.

We have a special Password creation feature which lets your imported customers generate a new password.
This feature is useful only when you have not entered the password during upload. You can read more about it below.

Features

- Upload customers to opencart easily with excel sheet.
- You can download the reference excel sheet using “Export Reference Template” button.
- You can enter all details about customers like email. telephone, company, address, etc
- You can upload the excel sheet using “Bulk Import Customers” button.
- If you also add a password in excel sheet, the password will be saved with customer details.
- But if you don't enter the password, then HTML email will be sent to the customer.
- The email will contain a link to create a new password.
- This email can only be opened by the customer who is entitled to see it.
- From password creation page, the customer will be able to add a new password to his/her account.
- So if you want a customer to enter their own password. This tool is the best.
- We can also have a report about this password creation.
- You can check pending password generation, completed password generation, etc
- The extension works like charm and is best if you have transferred your site or creating a new site.

 

Password creation tool

- Password creation tool works when you don’t specify a password in excel sheet.
- If you have left the password field blank in sheet, then a new password email is sent to customer email address.
- It is nicely created HTML email with new password link.
- You can edit the Html email from language file in case you need it.
- Once a customer clicks new password link in email, s/he will be redirected to new password creation page.
- the customer can enter a new password on this page.
- Once the customer enters a new password, the account will be auto-approved.
- And now the customer can login into account with the new password.

Steps to follow:

- You must log into admin and go to customer list page.
- You will find 3 buttons at the top to help you with import.
- Click “Export Reference Template”.
- This will download an excel sheet on your system.
- You must add details in that excel sheet in the same format.
- Once you added all details.
- Click on “Bulk Import Customers”.
- Popup will open, you can select your modified excel sheet.
- You can then click upload.
- If excel sheet was properly modified with new details.
- Customers will be imported successfully.
