Terms and Conditions for extension purchase
Security of personal information:
Cartbinder will endeavor to take all reasonable steps to keep secure any information which we hold about you and to keep this information accurate and up to date. This information is kept completely confidential and secure and it shall never be shared by anyone. Cartbinder will not be held responsible for events arising from unauthorized access to your personal information. For the purposes of viewing our Web site, you will have a user name and password. You are responsible for the security and confidentiality of your password and log-in information.
Support policy for extensions:
All our extension comes with free one-time installation. For this purpose FTP and admin are needed. Our response time is within 24 hours on working days and it may be within 48 hours during weekends/holidays. You can ask us for installation anytime within 1 year from your date of purchase. We provide a Free installation service only once. Our time zone is GMT + 5.30 (INDIA). Our working time is 10.00 Am to 6.00 Pm.
You can download extension updates for a period of one year from your purchase date. After that, updates won't be available. You can continue to use your last downloaded update for a lifetime after one year. In case you need the module update or support after one year. You will need to renew your license which shall cost you 50% of the module cost. Once the license is renewed the support and updates would be available for 1 year from your renewal date.
All extensions we design are tested 100% on default opencart installation and theme. It is also possible on some custom themes and modules. We have already done thousands of configurations for our extensions already with custom themes and modules. It is highly recommended that you contact us prior to purchase so we can tell you if it's a free or paid configuration depending on the extension. We also state on the extension description if it shall support custom themes/modules.

With this, we can let you know if the configuration is free or it shall have a nominal cost for configuration with your custom theme or extension.
Liability:
Since Opencart is an Open source and there is an unlimited number of themes and custom extensions. It is not possible to guarantee the working of extensions on custom themes and extensions. So it may not work 100% on your custom theme and modules. It is highly recommended that you test the extension under different test scenarios on your end. We are not responsible for any kind of financial loss it happens on your website because of the use of our extension. As it is not possible to know what other extensions you are using or if there is any conflict with other extensions. And due to this, the extension did not perform well. Hence, under no circumstances shall Cartbinder be held liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages, including, but not limited to, loss of data or profit, arising from the use of our extensions.
Configurations with third party themes/extensions:
If you are using any third-party theme or modules then it can happen that the extension you purchased is not working. That does not mean our extension is not working. It only means is that it needs a configuration. Depending upon the work the configuration shall be free or charged. If it's a very minor/small configuration then it shall be free of charge. Else configuration charges shall be needed based on work. It depends from extension to extension.
For configuration and free installation, it is mandatory to send us FTP and admin details for your store.
Without that, it is not possible to do that installation or configuration.
We don't change any core files in the configuration.
Instead, we believe in creating new files in vqmod / ocmod.
So you can update your theme/modules anytime when new updates are available.
License usage / validity:
If you have purchased a single license for extension then you can install on a single domain only. It is fine to use on the test site or localhost. But you cannot use any other domain with a single license. If you have a multi-store setup and you are yourself the owner of it, then you can use it via a single license. But for any other domain, a new extension license shall be needed.
In case you are using a different subdomain for separate websites then those are considered separate websites. You will need to purchase a license for the subdomains. You can use the multiple licenses discounts for the multi purchases.
Once you register your license on your domain. It won't be possible to change the domain. We allowing a testing extension on the Test domain. For this, you can contact us via email.
Based on the number of licenses purchased, you can install on that many numbers of domains only. If you want multiple licenses then you can purchase a bulk license for discounts from the extension page. It is available on the extension page.
The validity of the license comes for 1 year which means you shall have our support and extension updates free of cost for one year from your date of purchase. After that, you can continue to use our extension for a lifetime with the last update you did within that one year of purchase.
After one year for license renewal, you shall need to pay 50% of the extension amount to get new updates and support.
You shall see the discount automatically on the extension page after one year.
In case you made an order from Opencart.com, you can contact us at support@cartbinder.com to renew your license.
We will need your order id for this.
No matter how many licenses you purchased, you are not allowed to resell our extension(s) directly or by any modification. If it is found that you are misusing our extension then your license shall be terminated immediately without prior notice. You are also not allowed to copy our code, layouts from any extension to create a new extension.
Refund policy:
As said above about support policy and configuration, refunds shall not be given unless:
a) The extension does not work as described in the description.
b) You provide access to your installed domain via ftp and admin so the issue can be checked and resolved.
c) The developer is not able to fix the issue.
d) If you have misunderstood our extension then it’s your fault. Please read or confirm before purchasing the extension.
If you are using custom theme/module and extension needs paid configuration then you shall need to pay for it.
If after payment for customization, the extension still does not work you shall be refunded the extension amount and customization amount as well.
